Stereotyped is
a Blackgrass band built around the pickin' and singing of Matt and Julie,
with Jon on guitar, Larry on stand-up bass and Chari on washboard to fill
out this quintet of serious pickers and stompers. Their infectious,
rootsy songs whip crowds into a spontaneous hoedown.

written by Doug and the lyrics express haunting, whimsical and unique

as well. Slide guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, blues
harp, drums and a variety of unconventional percussion sounds drift and
meld throughout this CD, painting a picture that is very distinct and yet
very familiar..

tales from around the world.
The stories introduce audiences to characters from
throughout history, both wise and otherwise. Each story has lessons for
all, both subtle and not so, without beating the audience over the head
with them. All of the stories are based on folk tales from the country in
which they originated. In gathering the stories, Mark gathered different
versions of each story and adapted these renditions to create a unique
